Redbank New Jersey Kids Know Their Bugs!
Middle school students in Red Bank, New Jersey know their bugs. The northern New Jersey pest control professionals at Heritage Pest Control congratulate Red Bank Middle School students and their teachers, recent grand prize winners of a national science and technology competition sponsored by the National Pest Management Association (NPMA). Offered through NPMA’s educational children’s website Pest World For Kids, the contest invited teachers and students in grades 4 through 8 to create educational Public Service Announcements focusing on health and property risks posed by common household pests including ants, termites, cockroaches, bees and wasps, ticks and rodents.
For their winning PSA Club Roach, Red Bank Middle School received a $3000 grand prize. The creative New Jersey kids at Red Bank Middle School clearly swept the national pest control contest. Two additional Red Bank entries placed among the top five PSA finalists. Other finalists were Marion Junior/Senior High School in Marion, Wisconsin and Lakewood Christian Schools in Long Beach, California. Kudos to Red Bank Middle School students and teachers from all of us here at Heritage Pest Control. You clearly know your bugs!
